  • It’s of note that Crazy 8s often has multiple core producers for each project. However, as her 2nd Crazy 8s project Amanda challenged herself to independently produce iDorothy with her Writer and Director team. All it took was intensive planning, creative collaboration, an incredible team, the Crazy 8s in-kind support structure and 1000$ cash.

  • Produced by Download Joy Productions, company co-owned by Amanda Konkin, Luvia Petersen and Huelah Lander.

• The Butterfly Affect, 2019, dir. Stephanie Blakey, Short Film, Spectacle Five Films|ACE Program
  • Created as part of the inaugural Women in Animation Vancouver’s ACE Program (originally Five in Focus), as producer helped to select the other participants in order to create a 5 min 2d Animated short film with a 50K grant.
  • Incorporated Spectacle Five Films to produce the project along with the four other selected participants (Writer: Jen Davreux, Director: Stephanie Blakey, Art Director: Maisha Moore, Animation Director: Kaitlin Sutherland)

  • Hired by Amanda Lockitch and Alison Wandzura after they secured 10K of funding from Storyhive. Stepped into a lead producer role while they both starred in the project.

• The Switch, 2015, dir. Jem Garrard, TV-Series, OutTV| Trembling Void Studio (credit: co-producer)
  • The Switch was the world’s first transgender sitcom, created by and starring transgendered individuals.
  • Responsibilties: UBCP Paperwork, Crew tax credit documentation, general crew management and overall coordination on the series.

• Silk, 2015, dir. Nathaneal Vass, Webseries Pilot, Telus Storyhive|Trembling Void Studios
  • Silk’s pilot episode was the recipient of a 10K Storyhive grant during its inaugural webseries intake.
  • Responsibilities: focusing on UBCP paperwork, coordination and crew management.

• Blank Verse and Ben’s Vlog, 2013/2014 Creator/Producer (Webseries, Youtube)
  • New episodes of Blank Verse were posted every week from Sept-Dec 2013 (22 episodes), and Ben’s Vlog (12 episodes) was a twice weekly spin off that was available in March/April 2014. Amanda Konkin created the series and concept, bringing on different writers and directors to tackle the individual episodes.
  • She also worked with Laura McLean (director for Act 3 and Ben’s Vlog) to develop extensive companion content for the series, including character run twitter accounts, an online newspaper and video series for the fictional Bankside University Newspaper the Messenger Speech, and a blog run by Will Shakespeare.
