Amanda Konkin | Producer

Amanda Konkin was selected as the producer for the Women in Animation and Women in View’s Five in Focus Program in 2018. She created a film company and made the short film The Butterfly Affect with the 4 other women selected for the program.

The Butterfly Affect premiered at Vancouver’s Spark animation festival, had it’s international premiere at the New York International Children’s Festival where it was included in the Best of the Fest programming, and won 1st place in the mixed media/experimental category at the Florida Animation Festival. The film is currently available to view on Telus Optik TV.
